Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour, sponsored by Lexus, wraps up on Sunday. Here are the best designer looks she wore from Telfar, Loewe, Rick Owens, and more.

For the Renaissance Tour, Beyonce took a new approach with costumes. In the past, she’s stuck to one set of looks that she wears throughout the entire tour. And she’s typically worked with one costume designer, whether that was her mother Tina Knowles, Ty Hunter, or Marni Senofonte. But for the Renaissance Tour, she switched things up, literally. She collaborated with a stable of costume designers and stylists that included Shiona Turini, Julia Sarr-Jamois, KJ Moody, and Karen Langley. And she put them to work, opening the show each night in a brand new look, and then debuting new costumes on each night of the 56-stop tour. The theme was opulence and variety, with Beyonce leaning into all things shiny, silver, and metallic, tapping every major designer for custom looks, and referencing some of her previous outfits. As the North American leg of her tour, which was sponsored by Lexus, comes to an end, we recap her best Renaissance Tour looks.

This Loewe look designed by Jonathan Anderson is probably the most memorable and iconic look from the tour. It’s pulled from the surrealist hand motifs featured in Loewe’s Fall/Winter 2022 show, and then placed on a bodysuit. It’s been Beyonce’s most consistent tour look and Twitter account @beyzhive has said it’s inspired by “The Birth of Venus,” the iconic piece by Italian artist Sandro Botticelli.

Beyonce has a history with Thierry Mugler, the late French designer known for his sculptural, futuristic, and campy take on fashion. After discovering his work at a MET exhibition, Beyonce asked him to be the artistic director for her “I Am…” world tour in 2009. He designed 58 outfits for the tour and dressed her dancers as well. Beyonce revisited her relationship with the house for Renaissance, wearing a metal bee outfit and headpiece designed by Casey Cadwallader, the current creative director for Thierry Mugler. The look references Mugler’s Spring/Summer 1997 haute couture show and plays on Beyonce’s Queen Bey title.

This custom Roberto Cavalli outfit, designed by the brand’s creative director Fausto Puglisi and styled by KJ Moody, embodied Beyonce’s Texas roots. She’s known to wear a cowboy hat, leotard, and thigh-high boots, but this interpretation with Swarovski crystals, a flame motif, gloves, and a matching fan amped it up a notch. The look debuted in blue at an Atlanta stop, and later in red at one of the LA shows. It’s quintessential Beyonce but campier.

Beyonce hasn’t traditionally been a Rick Owens girl, but she wore the patent leather platform boots from his Spring/Summer 2022 show along with the Kriester shield sunglasses, a body suit with Owen’s signature shoulders, and sheer black fabric. It was dramatic and edgy, but still felt fitting for the Renaissance theme.

Beyonce’s relationship with Telfar, the Black-owned brand headed by Telfar Clemens, dates back to 2021 when she wore a large white Telfar shopping bag while out and about in New York City. Then she mentioned the label on the Renaissance album. On “Summer Renaissance” she sings, “This Telfar bag imported. Birkins? Them shit’s in storage.” So it made sense that at some point she would wear a Telfar look, and it didn’t disappoint. For the Seattle show, she debuted a maroon bodysuit with white piping, chap-inspired pants, a matching baseball hat, and fingerless gloves. Blue Ivy also wore a matching Telfar jersey and track pants with crystal embellishments.

Denim is a staple for Beyonce, so it was fun to see her wear this Diesel jumpsuit designed by Glenn Martens during the Louisville stop. Pulling from his ready-to-wear collections for Diesel, Martens created the second skin jersey printed with a trompe l’œil denim motif that was integrated with boots and gloves and embellished with gray crystals. The look was less flashy than some of Beyonce’s tour costumes, but it felt relevant and fashion-forward.

Designed by Camille Miceli, this Pucci look, which debuted during one of Beyonce’s LA shows, was a bright and vibrant take on the Renaissance theme. The jumpsuit featured Pucci’s signature “Giardino" print, which is part of its Fall/Winter 2023 “Supernova” collection, and embellished with crystal details. The catsuit was accessorized with a crystal body chain, matching hat and boots, and a fan.

Beyonce wore another custom Loewe outfit that was pulled from the Fall/Winter 2022 runway show. This outfit featured an embellished bodysuit in a technical printed satin jersey with all-over clear crystals, black crystal embellished gloves, and a 3D-printed balloon bra in red chrome.

Beyonce wore mostly gowns for the show’s opening, but this chain mesh dress by Tiffany & Co.’s Elsa Peretti line stood out for its craftsmanship. The dress was inspired by the late Elsa Peretti’s signature diamonds by the yard and mesh. The dress was made from 150 feet of mesh ribbon woven with 300,000 rings through the mesh, side panels, and shoulders. The handcrafted dress took 200 hours to make. She accessorized it with a custom pair of Malone Souliers heels.

Beyonce has worn a couple Adidas x Ivy Park custom looks for the tour, but this camouflage set that calls back to Destiny’s Child “Soldier” era felt like a nod to the past and the future. It featured a sequined bodysuit and cropped jacket paired with matching thigh-high boots and gloves.
